Do you know when to stop?

Diamonds are only chunks of coal

that stuck to their jobs, you see.

-- Malcolm Forbes

We've heard this many times before "You have got to stick to it if you want to reach your goals."

I know that many times just making the decision to stick to it has brought me the results I'm looking for

but there is the flip side...

There have been times when I stuck to the wrong thing and it cost me a lot of time and money.

How about you?

How has your determination paid off for you in your life?

Determination alone will not give you the results you are looking for.

Do you know when to continue pushing forward and when to let go of a project or an idea?

Sometimes the biggest challenge is knowing whether to keep on or to let go.

Most of the time the answer is in knowing how to develop an implementation plan that will work for you.

I have been successfully using a 7 step Implementation system for over 20 years.

It's great for implementing marketing and business strategies.

You'll find the 7 steps here:

Is Your Marketing Mindset Sabotaging Your Business?

Featured Article of The Month

Is Your Marketing Mindset
Sabotaging Your Business?

A few months ago I met with 2 prospective consulting clients.

Both businesses were similar in size. Both of them wanted to grow their business and I gave both of them had about the same amount of information on how my Marketing Blueprint Developer system works.

One of them signed up as a consulting client and the other did not. Which is fine, because not every business out there is the right fit for my consulting services. But this is not about me... it's about the biggest obstacle most small business owners face on their road to THEIR Business Success!

As I headed back from the second meeting I was struck by the difference in their Marketing Mindsets.

The first business owner asked me how much money his INVESTMENT in my services was going to make him.

The second business owner asked me how much money my services was going to COST him and then he said "I love what I've heard and I want your help. I'll call you as soon as I have the money..."

The second business owner's approach accounts for about 90% of small business owners and it's why their busiensses don't grow. Marketing your business is not a COST of doing business. Your rent, electric bill, office supplies, etc., are a part of the cost of being in business

The sole purpose of marketing is to make you money. Money spent on marketing is an investment and you should be focusing on how much money you'll be making as a result of that marketing campaign.

Unfortunately most small business owners will never accuire the right mindset and achieve the level of success they are looking for.

Here are the statistics on small business growth according to
Chet Holmes: Marketing Consultant to GLOBAL 1000 companies:

  • 95% of all companies will never reach
    $1 million in Annual Sales
  • Of those, 95% will never reach $5 million
  • Of those, 98% will never reach $10 million
  • Only one in 25 companies even last 10 years

Your Marketing Mindset is by far the biggest obstacle you will face when growing your business.

While it is true that if you don't invest in marketing your business, your business will not grow... This does not mean you should just throw your money around.

You should know exactly:

  1. Who you are marketing to?
  2. How much it will cost to get each new customer?
  3. Where you should spend your marketing dollars?

If you are wondering what happened with the two busieness owners.

The one of them retained my services that same day and has already doubled his profits. The other is still waiting to make money so he can invest in marketing his business. What is your marketing mindset?

To help you with your marketing mindset I have prepared a FR>EE Gift for you.

What a Camel Taught Me About Marketing

Since I've had many new subscribers during the last 3 months, I want to welcome everyone and share with you an experience that changed my life forever... I hope it brings you the same abundance it has brought into my life

What a Camel
Taught ME
About Marketing

I want to tell you about a marketing strategy so fundamental and so powerful that it has been used successfully throughout the world for thousands of years. It has been passed down from generation to generation and it is as powerful today as it was thousands of years ago.

I happened to learn this great marketing strategy from an Egyptian Camel Driver and it has changed my life. Not only has it affected the way I do business, but also the way I communicate with my family and friends. I even use it when setting and implementing my own business and personal goals.

Do not underestimate the power of this simple strategy. It could be the KEY that opens the floodgates of abundance in your life.

So now let me tell you how I came to learn this great lesson. It was 1993, my first business trip to Egypt. I worked in the apparel manufacturing industry at the time and was in Cairo to oversee our production.

I was having a hard time implementing JCPenney's new Quality Assurance System that the factories were required to adhere to before we could place orders with them. The factories had been producing goods their way for over 20 years and didn't see the need to change how they did things. As a woman, I was having a particularly difficult time getting them to understand the importance of this.

On a rare off day one of the factory owners I was working with took me to see the Pyramids. What an amazing experience! It is truly one of the most remarkable and inspiring places on earth. After a tour of the Pyramids, I noticed there were camels for hire. Read the rest of the story
